Here's a rundown of the major astro-events for February 2025. Keep in mind the transits to your own chart and not just the action at the time. After all, astrology may involve big picture patterns, but that big picture is made of little pictures... like you.
Retrograde Jupiter in Gemini is bouncing off and on the square to Saturn in Pisces. If your big plans simply don't seem to be coming together, now you know what to blame. Maybe you should think it through before you decide to invade Panama or something.
Jupiter stops going retrograde at 11 degrees Gemini on February 4th. Does this mean things will be more fun in general? Probably not. But try to have some fun anyway. Fun is underrated.
Venus goes into Aries on the 5th. This will tend to make your affections and spending habits less fuzzy headed and more demanding. (Recommended mood music)
On February 7th Neptune is conjunct the North Node. If you like things all fuzzy and spiritual, you'll love this particular conjunction. Maybe that urge to go to church or meditate more is something you should be listening to.
The 12th lights up with a Full Moon at 24 degrees Leo. And by "lights up," what I mean is that this Full Moon is in a close square to Uranus in Taurus. You might want to consider avoiding people who have a flair for drama, and you might want to think twice before you shoot off your big bazoo at someone.
The 14th sees Mercury move into Pisces. Mercury in Pisces tends to get a bad rap, but you might want to shore up your plans and intellectual pursuits now, because Mercury retrograde is coming in March. If you thought Mercury was kind of soft and Pisces, wait until you see it go retrograde there!
And oh… right. February 14th is Valentine's Day. Yeah, you may have to do something about that.
On the 24th, Mercury trine Mars is exact. Big bold words and big bold ideas!
Also on February 24th, Mars stops its long grinding retrograde in Cancer and goes direct. This happens at 17° Cancer. This means that the war god will be making one last slap at my own natal Moon and Ascendant. And believe me this transit has been no damned fun at all for me.
On the 29th we have a New Moon at 9° Aquarius, and it's getting a nice trine from Jupiter. Make sure you set your plans for the month ahead and start gathering resources. And with Venus conjunct Neptune, this might be a good time to mend some fences.
